Collection Two

 Welcome to Collection Two.

One of my favourite mediums is Mixed Media and the freedom it allows me for expression.

If one of my paintings appeals to you, I look forward to discussing its future.

Coming Home

You've crossed the ever-dancing seas,

The land in all its mysteries

Through skies of clouds suffused with light

You've visited exotic sights

And now, at last with wings a-humming

We celebrate your safe homecoming.

16" x 8" Mixed Media. $195.

Fragments.

Slicing through the days like jet-streams,

each new flight of fancy or unscheduled journey

brings new patterns to a life.

Where would the whole be, without the moments?

The joy without the tears?

The tiny things - the smile - the kiss - the

Holding of a hand. The larger ones - the prize -

the loss - the changing of a dream.

Each has its place, its meaning and its grace

Within the patterns of your mind,

Within the blueprint of your life.

18" x 18" Mixed Media. $325.

Eclipse

I'll emerge when light returns

To fill the sky and warm the heart

When moonbeams scud through clouds

To bounce off searching eyes.

Till then, I'll nurse my soul,

Wrap rugs around my limbs,

Curl into a ball of hope

And wonder at my dreams.

22" x 30" Mixed Media. $550.

Flash from the Past

A rush of day, swirling movements of time

With check-list tasks to do, and never-ending

Games of life to play, when in the midst of

Frantic catching up, an image flashes through

My mind. No sense of why, but here it is, the circles

Of the past return, whirring like fairies in my thoughts.

The place of peace, the words of hope, the face of

Love, the smile of dreams, transport me to a moment

That is ever here.

22" x 30" Mixed Media. $550.

I appreciate the time you've taken to visit my collection. Thank you.
