Camouflage

Why do you merge into mystery,

concealed behind a veil of soft

beauty, through which we have the

merest glimpse of you? What thoughts,

hopes, dreams, and fears lay hiding

in the undergrowth?

Your beauty needs no camouflage, but

shines through with authenticity,

as the songbird, singing from its secret perch,

bursts forth with open, earnest song.

                                                                  6"x 6" Mixed Media. $75.

But where is the Moon?

Moonbeams shimmer, glow, and glint

Caressing curves and corners,

Caves and hidden crannies.

Pools of mystery reflect the light

Throwing it out for those who search

As though the answers lie above.

                                            16" x 20" Mixed Media. $325.

Buried Treasure

Deep in the fathomless ocean

Far beneath the cobalt sky

An unequaled beauty of untold wealth

Waits for its owner to come by.

Put on your deep sea outfit

Breathe deeply as you dive

Explore the inner universe

Claim all that lies inside.

                                                       24' x 20" Mixed Media.  $495.

Cape Amethyst

Layers of light burst upon

Those amethyst rocks

Pouring softness over

The craggy purple cape

Which takes it in its stride.

Two elements of forces; one

An ever-changing firmament,

The other that’s crystalline,

Constant, permanent.

                                               20" x 16" Mixed Media. $350.
